Larry "Bud" Pischel

Larry W. “Bud” Pischel, 57 of Harbor Springs, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 5, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. He was a beloved husband and father.

Born on May 4, 1957 in Saginaw, Bud was the son of Larry Pischel and Carley Dubey. A longtime area dry wall contractor, Bud was also an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed fly tying, woodworking, gardening and building model boats and airplanes.

He is survived by his wife, Eva Marie of Harbor Springs; daughters, June and Megan Pischel of Harbor Springs; his son, Randy (Cassey) Pischel of El Paso, TX; 3 grandchildren, Scott, Lucy and Emma; his mother, Carley Dubey of Mt. Pleasant; a brother, Randy Pischel of Colorado; sisters, Helen Morris of Farwell, Ginger (Mike) Coleman of Midland and Carley Castillo of Mt. Pleasant; and several nieces and nephews. Bud was preceded in death by his father, Larry Pischel and his brother-in-law, Rick Morris.

Memorial services for Bud will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Landmark Baptist Church, 1182 Kemp Road in Petoskey where family and friends will gather beginning at 10:00 A.M. Those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions to the family.
