Krean Elizabeth Gottschalk

Krean E. Gottschalk, 39 of Cheboygan, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022 at home.

Krean was born with raven black hair and big brown eyes ready to see the world. She was the beloved daughter of James and Sandra and grew up with her siblings Nolan, Armena and Cody. Not only was she a daughter and sister, she was Aunt Krean to her nephews Jayce and Grady and to her neice Celia. 

She graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School and went on to be medical caregiver. She prided herself in helping her patients live to the fullest. 

Most people don’t ever truly know their calling, but for her it has always been taking care of others. It didn’t matter if you were a stranger, she never quit giving a helping hand and a warm smile to those who needed her. 

During her free time, she enjoyed playing with her beloved kitten Sox, watching old classic movies and challenging her father to a game of Scrabble. 

She may be gone, but all of those she touched will remember her kindness, strength and fortitude. 

Krean lived by the words, "I gotta walk out that door, put a smile on my face and see what today is."
