Kim I. Cryderman, 59 years young, passed away surrounded by family and loved ones on October 2, 2024. She lived with Multiple Sclerosis for many years and succumbed to complications from an unknown medical condition which caused swelling of the brain.
Kim was born January 21, 1965 to Irene Mitchell and Joseph Cryderman. As a child and teenager she was active in local 4-H where she showed steers and participated in sewing, helped on the Farm, and enjoyed horseback riding. Kim attended Bruce Township Elementary School and Sault Area High School where she graduated Class of 1983. On September 14, 1985 Kim married Todd Crebo and went on to have four beautiful children. Although Kim and Todd separated Kim would always tell her daughters she never regretted it because without the marriage to their Dad she “would not have her three beautiful girls”. Throughout her life she dabbled in many different career fields such as waitressing, Certified Nurses Assistant, Receptionist at Riverside Medical, Caretaker, Nanny, Hospice Care Aide, Information Desk Clerk at the Soo Locks, and Nail Technician. Kim was always trying to learn as much as she could by taking online courses in various fields of study and most recently attended Cosmetology School. Kim was fond of traveling, motorcycles rides, cooking, and baking. Anyone that knew Kim knew they could count on her to be present for any function for family and friends. Ultimately, Kim enjoyed interacting, socializing, and most importantly helping others. For many years, she was active in different community groups and Churches such as Families Against Narcotics (FAN), Bruce Township Homemakers Club, Rosedale Church, Donaldson Church, and New Beginnings at E-Free Church. She often donated to Kidz Kloset for the Sault Area Public Schools amongst many other charitable organizations.
Kim was a daughter, sister, mother, aunt, cousin, and amazing friend. Those who experienced her love and friendship were blessed beyond measure. She was sure to spread positivity and kindness no matter where she was. Kim’s faith in her Religion never wavered despite her struggles in life. Her devotion to the Lord and her uplifting Spirit is unmatched and would be difficult to replicate – she stayed dedicated to Him until her last breath.
Kim is survived by her daughters: Kami (Jeremy) Hornung of Dafter, Marki (Chris) Crebo of Sault Sainte Marie, Maci (Nate) Crebo of Sault Sainte Marie; Mother: Irene Cryderman of Dafter; Sisters: Debbie (Paul) Nurmi of Rudyard, Tricia (Mark) Vink of Unalakleet, Alaska, Bonnie (David) Cryderman of Crossville, Tennessee; Nieces and Nephews: Naomi (David) Nelson, Breanna and Jacob Nurmi, Bryce, Nathan, and Mattea Vink; Uncle: Paul (Shirley) Cryderman; Aunt: Carol Cryderman; Long Time Beloved Friend: Douglas Christensen Sr. As well as many family members and friends.
