Kenneth H. Carrick

Kenneth H. Carrick of Petoskey, passed away peacefully with family at his home in Independence Village on Saturday April 28, 2018.

Born in Alma on March 25, 1931, Ken was the son of Frank and Mildred Carrick.

After proudly serving in the US Navy, he married Marie Middleton and attended Michigan State University.

After retirement he split his time between Zephyrhills, FL and Michigan. Ken enjoyed fishing, bike riding, his kindle and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ken is survived by his wife, Marie, children Greg (Karen), Christopher (MaryLou) and Denise (John); grandchildren Joshua, Ashly, Eric, Alex and Adam; great grandchildren MaKenzie, Maxton, Stella, Ezra, Emma and Eli. Also surviving are sisters, Ula, Vanessa and Linda; brothers Melvin, Darrell and Ernie. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Richard, Gordon and Russell; sister Emma.

In keeping with his wishes his family and friends will remember him at the family hunting camp near Houghton Lake Saturday September 1, 2018.
