Kenneth James Schneider, 51 of Gaylord, passed away at home with his family on Thursday, April 4, 2024.

Born on October 15, 1972, in West Branch, he is the son of Ervin and Beverly (Grezeszak) Schneider.  After graduating from Ogemaw Heights High School, he went on to receive an associate degree in welding and mechanical drawing from Kirtland Community College.

He worked in the gas and oil industry as a lease operator with Lambda Energy, LLC. 

Ken was loved by everyone he met.  In his spare time, Ken enjoyed the outdoors.  He loved hunting, archery, fishing, camping, rock picking, Yooper light hunting, snowmobiling, ATV’s and dirt bikes, hydroponics, and racing RC trucks.  He cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren.  He also enjoyed making cookies for his OMH family and frequently provided them with chocolate.

On February 10, 2023, Ken and Connie Lynn Bisson were married in Gaylord, they met on February 10, 2007.  In addition to Connie, Ken is survived by daughters, Skyler Schneider and Tayler Schneider, both of Gaylord; step daughters, Bethany Osborn and Kaitly Koronka, both of Gaylord; five grandchildren, Mitchell John, Austin, Luke, and Delilah Osborn, and Hayden LeBlanc; his emotional support puppy, “Saving Grace” KANE; sisters, Shereen (Randy) Sauer of Jackson, MI, Gwen (Bill) Kinney of Okeechobee, FL and Lorraine Schneider of Jacksonville, FL; brothers, Vernon (Debbie) Schneider of Gaylord, Leonard Schneider and Joe Schnieder, both of Rose City, MI; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Ervin and Beverly Schneider.
