Kellye Marie Carter

It is with great sadness that we announce the recent passing of Kellye Marie Carter. 

Kellye was born in Detroit, Michigan and was raised in both Detroit and Westland.  She moved to Petoskey to be closer to her sister, Sherri. 

Kellye loved her two dogs, Sophie and Bicho, and her cat, Zepplin.  She enjoyed shopping, cooking, and watching television.

Kellye was preceded in death by her parents, James Carter and Beverly Carter; two brothers, Michael Carter and Jimmy Carter; and both sets of her grandparents.

She is survived by two sons, Jason and Daniel; two brothers, Keith (Peggy) Carter, and Tim (Kathy) Carter; and her sister, Sherri (Eddie) Spencer.  Kellye was proud of her two grandchildren, Christian and Kinsley.  Kelley is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, too many to count but none are forgotten.

Kellye was 59 years old at the time of her death.  A celebration of her life will be held in early June.
