Keith John Turner, 72 of Gaylord, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2015 at Hiland Cottage in Petoskey.
Born on August 22, 1943 in England, Keith was the son of George and Dorothy Turner.

Keith was raised in England before moving to the U.S. in 1957. For several years he proudly served in the Marine Corps and then in the Reserves. For over 20 years, he worked for the Otsego County Road Commission. In 1981, Keith became a member of the Gaylord Eagles and has continued throughout the years. He was also a member of the Gaylord Elks Lodge. Many memories, great stories and laughs took place at the Eagles or Elks with many special friends. Keith was very social, always had a smile on his face and enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved spending time with his wife, she was his pride and joy.

On March 8, 1975 he married the love of his life, Dianne Taylor who survives. Also surviving are his children, Steve (Debbie) Turner of Largo, FL., Hope (Tim) Simmons of Gaylord, and Kirt (Mandy) Turner of Gaylord; grandchildren, Justin Parker, Rick Turner, Kristen Turner, Courtney Turner, Allison (Trent) Skiba, Alexandra Simmons, Tyler Schram, Madison Schram, Melody Turner and Mariah Turner; great-grandchildren, Peityn, Temperance and Kaleb.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Keith’s life will take place on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Gaylord Eagles. Military Honors will be performed in honor of his service.
