Kathryn "Kathy" P. Smith

Kathryn “Kathy” P. Smith, 69 of Vanderbilt, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Tendercare Gaylord.

Born in Youngstown, Ohio on October 7, 1947, Kathy was the daughter of Clarence and Kathryn (Jordan) McNaughton.

On August 23, 1975 Kathy married the love of her life, Louis Abner Smith in the Pigeon River in Wolverine. Kathy loved the outdoors, going camping and spending time in the woods. She was a baker at Christopher’s Restaurant which she really enjoyed. She worked for the Wilmot Township Board when voting season took place. She truly dedicated her life to her husband “Sweet Face”, her daughters and grandchildren. She was so loved and will be greatly missed.

Kathy is survived by Louis, her husband of 41 years; two daughters, Dyan (Fred) Hunnicutt of Laingsburg and Tanya (Steve) Watt of Wolverine; her mother, Kathryn McNaughton of Niles, OH; her grandchildren, Dylan, Brianna, Kaitlyn and James.
