Katherine L. "Kathy" Westcott

Katherine L. "Kathy" (Freeman) Westcott, 51 of Gaylord, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 at Otsego Memorial Hospital. Born on August 31, 1966 in Brown City, she was the daughter of Attrel and Mildred Freeman.

In 1984, Kathy graduated from Gaylord High School. Three years later, she married the love of her life, Dave. Kathy’s greatest love was being a wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother. She enjoyed doing crafts, going camping and celebrating with family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

Surviving are her husband, Dave; sons, Jeramy Oatley of Cedar, MI, Steven Westcott of Toledo, OH and Jacob Westcott of Gaylord; grandson, Terrance; nine brothers and sisters, William Freeman, Brenda Cross, Ernie Freeman, Eunice Perry, Cleona Lockwood, Marolyn Perry, Ralph Freeman, Attrel Freeman and Douglas Freeman; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; father and mother-in-law, Robert and Lorraine Westcott; sister, Clara Freeman and brother, Dennis Freeman.
