Karen E. Butcher-Hojna

Karen E. Butcher-Hojna, 79 of Lewiston, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at Grayling Nursing and Rehabilitation in Grayling. Born on May 23, 1938 in Frankfort, she was the daughter of Arthur and Norma (Linkletter) Hull.

Karen and her husband, Joe were parishioners at St. Francis of Assisi for many years. They enjoyed camping and traveling. She will be greatly missed.

On February 15, 2003 in Sterling Heights, she married Joseph who survives. Also surviving are her two children, Alyson (Dan) Edwards of Marlette and Michael (Kristine) Butcher of Clarkston; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her former husband, Robert Butcher and her sister, Kay Akerley.

A Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at St. Francis of Assisi in Lewiston. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis of Assisi, P.O. Box 182, Lewiston, MI 49756.
