Julie A. Sevenski

Julie A. Sevenski, 58 of Elmira, passed away Friday, May 6, 2016 at Hiland Cottage in Petoskey. Born on September 27, 1957 in Lansing, she was the daughter of James and Caralene (Barnes) Curtis.

She lived in Elmira for almost 30 years while proudly raising two wonderful sons. She had an outgoing personality and a contagious, memorable laugh. She was a great mother and an amazing grandmother. She will be greatly missed.

Julie is survived by her two loving sons, Kirk (Nikki) Sevenski of Elmira and Robert (Kayla) Sevenski of Kalkaska; her step-daughter, Leslie; her granddaughters, Taylor and Samantha; a very special grandson, Cole; her father, Jim Curtis; her sisters, Maureen Wilson, Patricia Stratton, Dawn Curtis and Lorraine Ochoa; her brothers, Mark Curtis and James Curtis Jr; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Caralene.

A memorial service will take place at a later date.
