Julia L. Law

Julia L. Law, 66 of Vienna Township, died on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at home. Born on January 6, 1947 in Detroit, she was the daughter of Ronald and Pearl (Vansickle) Broden. Raised in Highland, MI, Julia later married and raised her family in Highland, Milford and Owosso. Later she moved to Lewiston then to Pikeville, KY and Columbus, OH before returning to the area in 1998. Julia was an LPN, and worked for several years at Tendercare of Gaylord. She enjoyed drawing, ceramics, reading, puzzle books, crocheting and camping with her family. Surviving are her sons, Shawn (Kelly) Law of Vienna Township, Thomas (Christine) Law of North Branch, Jamie (Morgan) Law of Lapeer and Dan Law of Owosso; grandchildren, Gage, Gabe, Colton, Adryanna and Rowdy her sister, Patti (Tracy) Rogers of Pikeville, KY and her brother, Ron Broden of Highland. Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 27, 2013 at Gaylord Community Funeral Home, with Rev. John Naile from Gaylord First United Methodist Church officiating. Visitation will begin at the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 AM. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Julia’s family through the funeral home.
