John F. Hall

John Forist Hall, 94 of Traverse City, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Tendercare Gaylord.

John was also a dedicated parishioner at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mapleton.  He loved the church and its parishioners and they loved him.

Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Genevieve Jane Hall; his children, Sandra Marie (Randall) Howard of Seattle, WA, John Forist Hall Jr. of Grand Junction, CO, Thomas Lloyd Hall of Colorado Springs, CO and Susan (Joe Hoin) Hall DVM of Gaylord; grandchildren, Neal Howard, Jay Howard, Lauren Hall and Michael Hall; a brother, Howard H. (Joyce) Hall DVM of Frankfort, KY and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Lorain Hall; and a sister, Eileen Caulfield.
