John Anthony DePew

John Anthony DePew, 59 of Gaylord, passed away at home on Tuesday, July 3, 2018.

Born in Highland Park on November 17, 1958 and raised in Warren, John is the son of Gerald and JoAnn (Rossi) DePew.

On April 18, 1980 John married Cheryl L. Linville in Warren.  He worked for several years at Q&H Metal Products in Madison Heights.  The family moved from Warren to Gaylord in 2000.

John enjoyed computers and R/C Cars and he was also an avid hunter.  In recent years he found great joy in spending time with his grandchildren.

John is survived by Cheryl, his wife of 38 years; his children, Don (April) DePew, Kim (Steve Boughner) DePew and Christopher Scott all of Gaylord; grandchildren, Isaiah, Gavin, Kamren and Zander; his parents, Gerald and JoAnn DePew of St. Helen and a nephew, Nick.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Catherine Kostuick.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 7, 2018 at St. Mary Cathedral where the family will visit with friends beginning at 9:30 AM.  Those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions to the family.
