James Paul Raveau

James “Jim” Raveau was born October 29, 1940 in East Detroit, MI to Bertha (Durand) and Pierre Raveau.  Jim passed away at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey on December 26, 2021 due to complications of Covid-19.

Jim is survived by his son, Pierre (Tammy) Raveau; and daughter, Renee (Rob) Gibbs; grandchildren, William Raveau, Ryan Musser and Ross Gibbs; and foster children, Linda (Bobby) Hill and Michelle (Gary) Gardner.

Jim is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; sisters, Therese and Jacquelyn; and brothers, Raymond and John.

His family will remember him privately, no services are scheduled at this time.
