James Christopher "Chris" Nolan

James Christopher Nolan, 53 of Gaylord, passed away at home on Wednesday, June 12, 2019.

Born in Fayetteville, NC on June 16, 1965, Chris was the son of John E. and C. Carol (Bowling) Nolan.

A skilled carpenter, Chris was also an avid fisherman.  During high school in Hazel Park, Chris was a skilled wrestler and state champion in his weight class.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, John Nolan.  He is survived by his sons, Thomas J. “TJ” (Vicki Haney), Tyler and Trevor; one grandchild; his mother and step-father, C. Carol and Randall Hauth; a brother, Jason Hauth; step brother, Randy Hauth and several nieces and nephews.

Chris’ family will remember him privately and burial will be at Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak.  Those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions in his memory to the American Lung Association.
