Jacquelyn F. Wojnaroski, 81 of Gaylord, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016 at Aspen Ridge Retirement Village.

Born May 30, 1935 in Raber, Michigan, Jackie was the daughter of Forrest and Blanche (Denalski) Benson.  She was a 1953 graduate of Detour High School.

On September 19, 1953 Jackie married Wilbert V. “Web” Wojnaroski in Goetzville.  During Web’s career as a Michigan State Park manager, the family lived in Flint, Clio, Muskegon, Pontiac, Brimley and finally in St. Ignace.  After Web retired in 1996, he and Jackie moved to Gaylord.

Jackie was a member of St. Mary Cathedral Parish.  She enjoyed playing cards and visiting with family and friends.

Jackie was preceded in death by Web, her husband of 61 years on February 13, 2014.  Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Wayne Larson of Gaylord; her son and daughter-in-law, Gary Wojnaroski and Bonnie Crysler of Pinckney; grandchildren, Brian (Barbara) Wojnaroski, Jason (Katrina) Wojnaroski, Stacia Wojnaroski, Kyle (Alisha) Larson and Kory (Tiffany) Larson; four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.  Also surviving are sisters, Sharon (Larry) Russell of Lansing and Georgene (Roy) Moir of Pennsylvania; a brother, Ron (Velma) Benson of Harbor Springs and several nieces and nephews.  Jackie was also preceded in death by sisters, Virginia Wojnaroski and Ann Prevost and brothers, Jack Benson, Dan Tominack and Mark Tominack.

Jackie’s family will visit with friends at Gaylord Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday, December 22, 2016  where a parish wake service and time of sharing will take place at 7:00 P.M.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 23, 2016 at St. Mary Cathedral where visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M.  Those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions to the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association.  Please share your memories and personal messages with the family at www.gaylordfuneralhome.com
