Helen J Huntley

Helen Jane Huntley, 69 of Elmira, died on Friday, April 12, 2013 at home surrounded by her family. Born on August 11, 1943 in Lansing, Helen was the daughter of Sylvester and Lucille (Wamhoff) Marciniak. Helen always enjoyed her work bartending in a number of area bars and restaurants. She enjoyed her craftwork and especially spending time with her family. She had been a parishioner at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Elmira. Helen is survived by her husband, Ronald G. Huntley. They were married on September 14, 1984. Also surviving are her children, Stephanie (Ken) Figiel of Elmira, Victor (Jen) Lecato of Fredonia, Clare “Skeet” Huntley of East Jordan; Lorie (Dan) Neuman of Dimondale, Lisa (Jason) Norris of Eaton Rapids and Aaron Huntley of Mason; 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. One of 19 children, Helen is survived by 7 brothers and 3 sisters. The Mass of Christian Burial for Helen will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 20, 2013 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Elmira with the Rev. James Bearss, celebrant. The family will gather with friends at the church on Saturday beginning at 10:00 A.M.
