Heather Renee Simpson

Heather Renee Simpson, 31 of Gaylord, passed away in Gaylord on Wednesday, July 27, 2016.  A beautiful soul now at peace, Heather was a kind bubbly person with a beautiful smile and will be greatly missed.

Born on December 9, 1984 in Royal Oak, Heather was the daughter of JR and Rene M. (Fabiano) Kalamejski.  A 2002 graduate of Southfield High School, she moved to Gaylord nine years ago.  Heather worked in food service, including the time she spent working at Jet’s Pizza in Gaylord.

Surviving are her children, Devon and Donovan; her parents, Rene (David) Kalamejski of Warren and JR Simpson of St. Clair Shores; a sister, Chelsea VanHook of Green Bay, WI; brothers, Shane (Katie) VanHook of Gaylord, Brian (Tina) Simpson of Novi Tyler Kalamejski of Gaylord and Dustin Kalamejski of Warren; her grandparents, June and Fred Raymond of Wyandotte, Shannon and Paul Turner of Warren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
