Harry Scott Travis

Harry Scott Travis, 57 of Gaylord, died on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Otsego Memorial Hospital. Born in Bay City on July 7, 1956, Scott was the son of Harry and Suellen (Marlette) Travis. He enjoyed his work at Betsie Bay Marina in Elberta where he worked for several years. In Gaylord, Scott worked at Don’s Marine as a mechanic. He was proud to be a musician and songwriter. Scott is survived by sons, Terry J. Travis of Eugene, OR and Ryan J. Travis of Gaylord; a grandson, Jeremiah Lee Travis of Gaylord and a brother, David Travis of Gaylord. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Jane Travis and a brother, John Travis. His family will remember him privately. Arrangements are by Gaylord Community Funeral Home.
