Gerald L "Lloyd" DeVor

Gerald Lloyd DeVor, 74, of Lewiston, died Sunday, November 4, 2012 at home. He was born on February 20, 1938 in Detroit, MI to Gerald Luther and Jean (Bowyer) DeVor. Lloyd was a retired truck driver. He was an avid boater, boat carpenter and fisherman. He enjoyed old cars, carpentry around the house, furniture building and car repair. On October 11, 2012 Lloyd married his partner of 37 years, Sharon K. Taylor and she survives. Also surviving is a daughter Susan Marie (Jeff) Begeman of Montebello, VA; a son Jerry Michael DeVor of Honolulu, HI; Brothers David Charles (Lee) DeVor and James Russell (Faith) DeVor; 3 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 11 nieces and nephews and 12 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Dorothy Jean Baker. At his request, following cremation the family will hold a private memorial service.
