Georgie D. Llewellyn

Georgie D. Llewellyn, 82 of Walloon Lake, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Hiland Cottage in Petoskey. Born on April 15, 1934 in Petoskey, Georgie was the daughter of George and Gwendolyn Malloy.

For several years, Georgie worked at the Boyne Avenue Greenhouse and really enjoyed it. She loved making crafts, taking care of her plants and spending time with her family. She and Rollyn traveled all over the country and spent some of the time camping. She was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star. She will be greatly missed.

On August 29, 1954, Georgie married Rollyn in Petoskey at the United Methodist Church who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Rollyn II of Troy, Mark of Petoskey, Tim (Gina) of Saginaw; a special daughter in law, Janice Danzer of Oxford; grandchildren, Rollyn III, Nicole, Mark II, Benjamin, Ava, Peytan, Ashley and Lauren; great-grandchildren, Rollyn IV and Luke; her sisters, Roberta (Stan) Kapusto of St. Charles and Mary (Robert) Vratanina of Walloon Lake; her brother in law, Harold Hall of Saginaw and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel George in 2006; and her sister, Gerrie Hall.
