Gary Francis Koronka

Gary Francis Koronka passed away September 18th, 2024 at the age of 65.

He leaves behind two children Pam and her husband Josh, Steven and his wife Kelly, eight grandchildren Ryan, Annabelle, Addison, Alexis, Aurora, Collin, Amelia, and Anderson, and a loving wife of 45 years Judy, his high school sweetheart. He leaves behind his mom Ann Koronka, a Brother Ronnie Koronka and his girlfriend Wendy, sister Cathy and her husband Mike and numerous nieces and nephews.

He had a larger than life personality around everyone he met and an amazing sense of humor.

Gary volunteered as a firefighter, worked on fires trucks, was a mechanic, and jack of all trades, master of none.

Gary had many hobbies that included but are not limited to making wine, canning, fishing, hunting and crafting his own beer. Another hobby of his was collecting things to do projects later that never got finished.

There were not many times you could find Gary without a beer in his hand (alcoholic or non). The best farewell would be to have a cold one in honor of him.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at the Gaylord Methodist Church where visitation will begin at 9:30 AM. 

Those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions in Gary’s memory to 4 Paws Love in Gaylord.
