Frank A. Ledwick

Frank Allen Ledwick, 72 of Gaylord, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Munson Healthcare Otsego Memorial Hospital.

Frank was born May 26, 1952, to Thomas and Blanche (Lorentz) Ledwick. He was a lifelong resident of Gaylord, graduating from Gaylord High School in 1970. He played defensive lineman for the Blue Devils football team in his junior and senior years. 

He was employed as Groundskeeper for the Michaywe golf courses for over 50 years, keeping the fairways and tees in outstanding condition by mowing grass and chasing gophers. He was a volunteer firefighter and E.M.T. For the Otsego Lake Township fire department for 32 years, serving as fire chief for 9 years. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and hockey and was a big Red Wings fan. 

He is survived by his brothers, Jim (Pat) Ledwick, Ed (Ann) Ledwick; his sister, Mary Jones and his nephews, Brian Jones and Rick Ledwick. 

Frank was preceded in death by his parents and his brother in-law, Ron Jones.

The family has chosen to remember him privately.
