Frances Lee Brink

Frances Lee Brink, 75 of Gaylord, passed away Friday, April 7, 2023, at home surrounded by her family. Born on August 25, 1947, in West Branch, she is the daughter of Royce and Rosella (Cohoon) Abbe.

On January 15, 1977, Fran married the love of her life, David. Together, they raised two children. She enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, going to the casino and garage sales, reading, and watching late night tv with popcorn. Her greatest love was spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, David; two daughters, Angela Rose Hendrickson of Vanderbilt and Dayna Lynne (Andy) Smolarz; grandchildren, Elizabeth Kellee Bartarian of Vanderbilt, Hollee Dynae (Jake) Coultes of Vanderbilt and Jayde Lee Smolarz of Gaylord; great-grandchildren, Avalee and Remi Coultes of Vanderbilt; her sister, Tawnee (Mike) Green of Vanderbilt and Gina (Andy) Swinson of Lewiston, a brother, Scott (Sherry) Abbe of Fairview and a sister, Suzanne Abbe of Fairview.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Royce and Rosella Abbe; sister, Janie Abbe; brother, Royce “Buck” Abbe; her daughter, Minda Hendrickson; and her first husband, Edward Hendrickson.

A memorial service will take place 12:00 PM Friday, April 14, 2023, at Gaylord Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service where the family will visit with friends beginning at 10:00 AM. Pastor Joe Sereno will officiate. A luncheon will follow at the Elkland Senior Center in Vanderbilt.
