Flora E Crater

Flora E. Crater, 74 of Gaylord and formerly of Greenville, died on Friday, May 3, 2013 at Tendercare of Gaylord. Born on April 10, 1939 in Westphalia Township, Flora was the daughter of Ezra Stoffer and Ruby Mae (Mix) Middaugh. On December 12, 1959 she married Richard J. Crater. Flora enjoyed her craftwork, especially embroidery and crocheting. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Richard J. Crater; sons Timothy J. Crater of Greenville, Terry L. Crater of Kincheloe and Michael R. Crater of Sierra Blanca, TX and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters, Alice Shinabargar, Elsie Burns, Betty Clance, Viola Oakley and Grace Middaugh and brothers Paul, Leo and Robert Middaugh. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son Edmund T. Crater. Flora’s family will remember her privately, arrangements are by Gaylord Funeral & Cremation Service, 989-732-2230.
