Ernest R. Moore

Ernest R. Moore, 74 of Wolverine, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at home. Born in Mackinaw City on November 29, 1942, he was the son of Robert and Irma (Babcock) Moore.

Ernest loved camping and country music. He will always be remembered for raising ruckus. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his children, Jennifer (Jeff) Vogel of Gaylord, Chad (Christina) Moore of Gaylord, Jolene (Robert) Schwartz of Indian River, Jessica (Rick) Moore-Dunham of Wolverine and Vickie (Charlie) Penewit of Indian River; his loving grandchildren, Christa, Kelsey, Tyler, Allison, Hunter, Dylan, Christian, Raymond, Josh, Austin, Andrew, Anthony and Michiach; his great-grandchildren, Keegan and Chanel; his sister, Sandy Moore; his brothers, Ron, Kirk, Bryce and Terry; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Vickie Moore in 1988; his son, Little Ernie in 1973; his grandsons, Timber and John Brown and his brothers, Sid, Richard “Froggy,” Gary and Raymond.
