Edwin J. Fettig

Edwin Julius Fettig, 82 of Harbor Springs, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024, at Villa by the Bay in Petoskey. 

Born in Petoskey on January 11, 1942, he was the son of Leon and Betty (Kucharek) Fettig, and a graduate of St. Francis Catholic Schools in Petoskey.

Shortly after graduating, Edwin served in the United States Army from 1961-1964.  After being discharged, he returned home to Petoskey.  Edwin worked for several years at Penn Dixie Cement and Sams Body Shop.   He retired from Glens Market, North in Petoskey after 16 years of service.  In his spare time, Edwin enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra, whom he married in Petoskey on April 26, 1986; a stepson, Jason (Shannon) Faulkner of Gig Harbor, WA; granddaughters, Allaynnah, Kaylana, and Kiarra; step granddaughters, Mariah, Kassandra, and Serena; sisters, Theresa, Gerri, Genny, Pauline, and Mary; brothers, Fred, and Paul; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Betty.
