Donna J Vinecki

Donna J. Vinecki, 71 of Gaylord, died on Monday, September 15, 2014 at Otsego Memorial Hospital. Born in Oakland, California on January 14, 1943, Donna was the daughter of Jerald and Katherine (Bogern) White. Donna and her family moved to Detroit and later to Petoskey. She also lived in Ludington for a number of years. On March 23, 1962 she married Edwin Vinecki in Gaylord. She worked as an independent Avon distributor for over 25 years. Donna was a member of St. Mary Cathedral and Gaylord Eagles Eerie #1825. She enjoyed playing cards, video games on her ipad, bowling and visiting area casinos. Her family will remember her love of jewelry, which she often made herself, unique for each event or occasion. Donna is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ed Vinecki; her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Sharon Vinecki of Gaylord; her grandchildren, Quentin and Breanna Vinecki both of Gaylord; her mother, Katherine White of Gaylord and her brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Judy White of Hazel Park. Donna was preceded in death by her father, Jerald White and her twin brother, Douglas White. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at St. Mary Cathedral, 606 North Ohio St. with a time of visitation prior to the mass beginning at11:00 AM. A luncheon will follow at the Wisconsin St. Hall. Those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association.
