Donald R. DePew

Donald R. DePew, 39 of Gaylord, passed away at Munson Healthcare Grayling Hospital on Saturday, October 9, 2021. Born in Detroit on August 31, 1982, he was the son of John and Cheryl (Linville) DePew.

In 2001, Donald graduated from Gaylord High School. In 2004, he graduated from MCTI. For several years he worked delivering newspapers with his mother in-law. He also was a stay at home dad and did maintenance for the Nottingham Forest. His greatest pride and joy was his family.

On October 31st, 2013, he married the love of his life, April. Also surviving are his special children, Zander and Annaleah DePew; his mother, Cheryl DePew; his sister, Kimberly (Steve) Boughner; brother-in-law, Randall (Jenn) Fox; fathers-in-law, Gary Fox and Dennis Meehan; grandparents, Gerald (Joanne) DePew; nieces and nephews, Kamren, Ellie, Bryson and Athena; many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends that were like family. He will be greatly missed.

He was proceeded in death by his father, John DePew and mother-in-law, Anne Meehan.

A memorial service will take place 11:00 AM Saturday, October 30, 2021 at The Friendship Church where the family will visit with friends from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
