Donald D. Sergent

Donald D. Sergent, 83 of Lewiston, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Otsego Memorial Hospital. Born in Millington on November 16, 1932, Don was the son of Earl and Edna (Mapes) Sergent.

Don and his wife, Fran attended First Baptist Church of Lewiston for several years. He was a jack of all trades and could fix just about anything. For almost 50 years, he proudly was a truck driver, driving all over the country. He enjoyed hunting and riding his quads. He had a passion for spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Don married Fransetta Van Alstine on September 22, 2006 in Lewiston who survives. Also surviving are his children, Jerry Plant, Renee Harper, Terri (Bryan) Ferguson and Donna Jean (Brian) Zimmerman; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Clyde (Izora) Sergent and Earl (Barbara) Sergent; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Tammy Sergent; his son-in-law, Roger Harper; his brother, Norwood (Wanda) Sergent and his sister, Lois Glady.
