Diane Jean Wilber

Diane Jean Wilber, 80 of Ellsworth, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at The Brook in Boyne City.

Born in Durand, Michigan on September 25, 1943, she was the daughter of Melvin and Lelah (Pritch) Kieffer.

On September 13, 2002, Diane and Daniel F. Wilber were married and have made their home in Ellsworth ever since.

Diane enjoyed gardening and working around her yard. She and Dan enjoyed their travels around Michigan and trips to Texas to visit family. Easy to talk to and loved by all, Diane was often thought of as a “second mom” to those around her.

She is survived by Dan, her husband of almost 20 years; her children, Jacqueline (William) Marlowe of Boyne City, Stephen Postlewate of Arlington, TX, and Bradley (Shelly) Postlewate of Midlothian, TX; grandchildren, Hayden Marlowe, Gavin Marlowe, Grace Postlewate, David Postlewate, Gabby Postlewate, and Bailey Postlewate; and a sister, Nancy Sewell of Boyne City. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Leonard Kieffer.
