David W. Symons

David Symons, 75, passed away in his home in Cedar, Michigan on Wednesday, September 14, 2016.

Dave was born in Saginaw, Michigan on April 13, 1941. He graduated from Arthur Hill High School. He attended Michigan State University.

Dave had a passion for his pets. His dogs were known to go everywhere with him. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He filled them with joy and laughter with his silly faces and jokes.  Dave was a very caring person with a big heart. He spent countless hours at local restaurants chatting with new and old friends.

He is survived and dearly missed by his children, David (Kylie) Symons of Norton Shores, Debbie (Jeff) Bry of Northville and Anne (Aeron) Eco of Mt. Vernon, Washington; Grandchildren, Penelope and Natalie Symons, Logan and Delaney Bry, Atom and Avery Eco; and his sisters Susan of Traverse City and Mary of Vero Beach, and brother Scott of Santa Cruz. In addition to his parents, Barbara and William, he was preceded in death by his brothers Robert and Bill.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Kensington North Community Church, 6880 Secor Rd, Traverse City, MI  49685.
