David J. Hublick

David Joseph Hublick, 62, of Elmira, Michigan, returned to his heavenly home on January 7, 2018.

Dave was born in Petoskey, Michigan and was a lifelong resident of Elmira.

He was blessed with a large and loving family and is survived by his daughter Angela (Kevin) Schram, son David (Jessica) Hublick II, son Nathan Hublick, son Caleb Hublick, and nine grandchildren;  Allyssa, Allexis, David III, Katelyn, Victorea, Allex, Leah, Hailey and Danica.

Dave is predeceased by his mother Dorothy (Mumich) Hublick, survived by his father Robert Hublick and nine brothers and sisters; Robert (Jana) Hublick, Dianna (Steve) Schram, Dorothy “Dotty” Hublick, Dale (Eileen) Hublick, Dawn (Kyle) Bell, Richard Hublick, Ryan (Patti) Hublick, Regina (Kevin) Jaeger and Catherine Hublick.  The family would like to recognize Sam and Marge Marker and Hunter Gauldin for their devotion and friendship to Dave.

Dave will be forever loved and missed.  His courage, faith, sense of humor and love of life is an inspiration to all who knew him.  He spent his life putting everyone’s needs before his own and anonymously helping those in need.  Dave had a strong moral compass and was passionate about all things that touched his heart and mind.  His devotion to his family and his strong belief in God supported him in life and ultimately gave him peace. His family draws comfort in the thing that he believed most of all:  his soul is at peace; his soul is at rest; he is home in heaven.

A celebration of Dave’s life including a luncheon will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2017 at Grace Baptist Church, 232 S. Townline Road, Gaylord, Michigan.  Pastor Jon Jenkins will be officiating.
