David Windsor of Kalamazoo, Michigan, left this world on February 16, 2024, at the age of 42. He passed away unexpectedly in his home.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Michelle Windsor. Left to cherish his memory are his father, Dan; his siblings, James, and his wife Jill, Tina, and her husband Sean, Dan (Danny), Norman, and his 3 niblings, James (Jamie) and his wife Kirstine, Cameron and his girlfriend Arielle, Mercedes (Max), and his grand niblings Roman and Gannon, his fur baby Scrappy, and his work family at Belaire Heating and Cooling.
David was born in Tawas, Michigan, and has lived in many cities across Michigan. He grew up in Cheboygan on a small hobby farm where he invented the fine art of pig surfing and developed a lifelong fear of geese.
David was well traveled having visited many states and Europe numerous times. He was an accomplished gardener who could coax anything to grow, and he took great pride in growing his own vegetables. He loved to cook and was a serious foodie. He could make a pork tenderloin that would bring a tear to the eye. He attended culinary school where he earned a culinary arts degree. He tossed around the idea of becoming a professional chef. David also had a serious interest in anything tech, and an obsession with anything Apple. He would argue the superiority of Apple over Android until the end of the day. He fell into mourning upon hearing of the death of Steve Jobs and felt his birthday should be declared a national holiday. David also loved nature, chickens, exploring, working on his vehicles, and taking things apart just to see how they worked.
David was a contradiction. He was a very private person who played things close to his vest and a bit of an introvert, however, at the same time he would be the life of the party. He left a huge impact on everyone he met. David is loved by more people than he could have ever imagined.
