David Hagelstein

David R. Hagelstein, 55 of Bellaire, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at home. Born in Avon Township, MI on October 5, 1960, David was the son of Clayton and Mildred (Millie) Hagelstein.

David loved sailboats, history, reading, watching Lions football and his home. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his father, Clayton Hagelstein of Lake; his siblings, Bob (Debbie) Hagelstein of Troy, Donna Hagelstein of Metamora, Thomas Hagelstein of Lake, Fred (Mary) Hagelstein of Brighton; his cousins, Mike and Kelly McLellan of Bellaire; several nieces and nephews, Haylei (Dan) Westness, Kyle (Jennifer) Purdy and Breanna (Kenny) Hagelstein; great-nieces and nephews, Chandan, Avery, Candace and Nolan.

Also surviving are cousins, Roy, Jason and Carol and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred (Millie).
