David E. Churches

David E. Churches, 71 of Wolverine, passed away at home on Saturday, July 18, 2015. Born in Brighton, MI on May 2, 1944, he was the son of Harry and Lucy (Cain) Churches.

Dave was raised in the Brighton area, until he was drafted and entered the U.S. Army. For the last 30 years he has lived in Wolverine.

He was the owner of Churches In Home Care for several years. Dave was an avid fisherman, he enjoyed camping and he loved his dog, Tinker.

In 2003 he married Karen Sue (Hill) Robinson, and she survives. Also surviving are his children, David, Jim, Jeff and Shane Churches and Sheila Scott; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Don (Shirley) and Ed and sisters, Evelyn, May and Charlene. He was preceded in death by sisters, Janet and Genevieve.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 8th at Sturgeon Valley Fellowship Free Methodist Church in Wolverine. Those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions to the charity of their choice.
