Darlene Kay Sitkewicz

Darlene Kay Sitkewicz, 72 of Gaylord, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 24, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.

She married the late Chester Sitkewicz in 1965 and was preceded in death by her loving husband in 2001.

Darlene is survived by her two children, James (Annmarie) Sitkewicz of Midland and Tina (David) Bunker of Vanderbilt; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren with two on the way.  She was also preceded in death by a great grandson, Hudson Fugate in 2016.

Darlene had an amazing career in the nursing field, most of which she spent at Otsego Memorial Hospital in Gaylord.

She was immensely proud of her two children and the families they have built.  She leaves nothing behind but beautiful memories.

Darlene lived her last months at Woodland Acres in Gaylord.  Her family will be forever grateful for the wonderful and loving care she received while she was there.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and her family will remember her privately at a family gathering.  The family encourages those who wish to consider memorial contributions to Woodland Acres.
