Danine M. Corbin

Danine M. Corbin, 57 of Gaylord, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018 at McLaren Northern Michigan in Petoskey. Born in Lincoln Park on October 16, 1960, Danine was the daughter of Gilbert and Mary (Sims) Corbin.

In 1978, Danine graduated from Gaylord High School. She worked at Beaver Creek for several years during the 1980’s and sold memberships. She worked in real estate in the 1990’s and other administrative positions throughout the years. She had a gift of selling, was very motivated and had a driven personality. She loved camping, cooking, riding her motorcycle, spending time outdoors and with family. Her heart was full of giving as she enjoyed volunteering at the Otsego County Animal Shelter along with spending time with hospice patients and taking time to live out their last wishes. In 2015, she proudly graduated from Northwestern Michigan College in Traverse City with an Associate degree in business. Her pride and joy was her son, nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her son, Adam (Samantha) Corbin of Gaylord; siblings, Daniel (Heather) Halladay of Arkansas, Mary (Glen) Flood of Gaylord and James (Lani) Halladay of San Diego, CA: many special nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Pamela Corbin and her nephew, Antonio Berlanga.
