Daniel Sylvester Puroll, 53, of Boyne City, passed away May 19, 2019 at the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque, NM after breaking his neck from being thrown from a mule on May 9, 2019.
On June 27, 1965, Danny was born in Boyne City, the son of Walter and Waneta (Curtis) Puroll. In 1983, Danny graduated from Boyne City High School. He obtained his certification in horticulture and his CDL License. For most of his life, Danny worked as a logger where he enjoyed being out in the woods. He drove logging semi-trucks for several years. He was handy and enjoyed tinkering with mechanics, reading, watching western shows and anything outdoors. He loved baking, cooking, enjoying a nice meal, dancing and writing meaningful poems about life. His personality had an adventurous side. He loved his family, and adored his nieces and nephews. He had a nick name for each and every one of them.
He is survived by his siblings, Louie (Devonna) Puroll of Pie Town NM., Randy (Amanda) Puroll of Eaton Rapids, William Puroll of East Jordan, Mary Goy & Michael Hardy of Boyne City, Cindy (Jamie) Brown of Webster FL., John Puroll of Boyne City, David (Martha) Puroll of Lakeland FL and Jeanne Belford of Vanderbilt; many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will take place in the fall at Hudson Township Cemetery where he will be interred with both of his parents.
