Dale Truman Wingate jr.

Dale Truman Wingate Jr., 53 of Pelham, NC, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at McLaren Northern Michigan in Petoskey after a brief illness.  Dale had been in Gaylord since April, working as a welder on a construction project for Birmingham, AL based Electric Controls Systems.

Born in Titusville, FL on December 12, 1964, Dale was the son of Dale Truman Sr. and Gracie Wingate.

Dale is survived by his wife Vicki.  They were married on January 17, 2014.  Also surviving are his sons, Stephen Dale and Christopher; his mother, Gracie; a brother, William; a sister, Gracie; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Charles and a sister, Laurel.

A memorial service for his construction crew family and friends will be held at 5:00 PM Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Gaylord Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service where visitation will begin at 4:00 PM.  Other services will be held later in North Carolina.
