Cynthia Ann “Cindy” Williams, 76 of Gaylord, passed away at home on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 surrounded by her family. Born in Copley, OH on December 20, 1938, Cindy was the daughter of Lawrence and Edith Mae (Smith) Repp Sr.

On April 12, 1958, Cindy married Elzory “Lucky” Williams at the Akron Baptist Temple in Akron, OH. With their young children, Lucky and Cindy moved to Gaylord in 1965. Cindy worked for a time at U.S. Plywood, as a manager at McDonald’s and at the local Zephyr gas station. Later, she spent several years at Otsego Memorial Hospital, where she was a nurse aide. Cindy and Lucky both worked for many years at the Otsego County Ambulance Corps and Otsego County EMS, where Cindy was an EMT Specialist. Cindy was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary. An avid sports fan, she was loyal to the Detroit Tigers, Lions and Redwings. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, bowling and playing bingo.

Cindy is survived by Lucky, her husband of 57 years; her daughter, Margaret O’Rourke of Gaylord; her son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Joyce Williams of Johannesburg; grandchildren, David Boyden, Walter (Brandi) Boyden IV and Melissa Boyden; and great grandchildren, Levi, Abigail, Walter V, Emma, Skylar, Bradyn and Jacob. Also surviving are her brother, Larry (Betty) Repp of Murray, KY, sisters, Goldie (Bob) Wagner of Murray, KY and Betty June Spetage of Barberton, OH and a sister-in-law, Fran Repp of Columbus, OH.

Cindy’s family will remember her privately with a family gathering. Those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions to the family.
