Colleen K. Karash

Colleen Kay Karash, 78 of Afton, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at the Villa at the Bay in Petoskey. Born in Mt. Clemens on April 4, 1944, she was the daughter of Ralph and Ardath (Ramus) Raynusch.

On March 21, 1969, Colleen married the love of her life, Frank E. Karash Jr. Together they raised two children and created a wonderful life together. She had a passion for making people feel beautiful which led her to go to school to become a beautician. She enjoyed her career, always dressed nice, hair, makeup and jewelry daily before heading into work. She was involved in the Cheboygan Humane Society for several years.

She is survived by her husband, Frank E. Karash Jr; her son, Larry Karash (Tracey Wisswell) of Sterling Heights; her daughter, Christine Mitchell of Indian River; and three grandsons, Ashton Karash, Connor Karash and Travis Roy.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
