Clifford L. “Buck” Moyer, 76 of Gaylord, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Born on May 20, 1944 in Lewiston, he was the son of Clifford C. and Betty (Cauchon) Moyer.

Buck worked in construction for a few years before beginning his career as a machine setup man at Ford Motor Company in Rawsonville.  He retired from Ford after a 30 year career and later moved back up north, to Gaylord.

Buck’s family and friends will most remember his love of music and being outdoors.  Throughout his life he enjoyed singing, very often with his family.  Always enjoying the outdoors, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, mushroom hunting, woodcarving, riding motorcycles and ATV’s and time spent around a campfire.

Buck is survived by his wife, the former Sharon (Buttermore) Wagle.  They were married in Las Vegas on August 16, 1995.  Also surviving are his children Roni Moyer Eley of Spring Arbor, Wendy (Earnest) Moyer-Ramadan of Jackson and Tammi Moyer of Dearborn Heights; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; sisters, Jodi (Butch) Fleming of Gaylord and Sharon (Ken) Boughner of Skanee; a brother, Donald (Carol) Moyer of Gaylord; and several nieces and nephews.  Buck was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Cpl. Cliff E. Moyer, USMC.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Gaylord Church of the Nazarene.  Those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions to Compassus Hospice.
