Charles A. Picot

Charles A. Picot, 71 of Vanderbilt, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2022, in the Emergency Department at Munson Healthcare Otsego Memorial Hospital.

Born in Lexington, Michigan on June 30, 1951, Charlie was the son of Charles J. and Emma C. (Roberts) Picot.  He grew up in Lexington and was a 1969 graduate of Croswell Lexington High School.

On June 4, 1977, Charlie was married in Lexington to Debbie A. Walker.  In 1982 they moved to Houston, Texas where Charlie worked at Schwans.  In 1994 they moved to Vanderbilt, Michigan where Charlie also worked with Schwans, later going to work at Reptron in Gaylord.  In 2007 they moved back to Texas where he worked at FOBI until retiring. 

Since moving back to Vanderbilt in 2012, Charlie has enjoyed his love of the outdoors, especially hunting, hiking and off-roading.  He also had a love of cars.

Charlie is survived by Debbie, his wife of 45 years; a brother, John (Judy) Picot of Temple, TX; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob (Mary Ann) Walker of Dearborn, MI, and Becky (Mike) Gentner of Lexington, MI; nephews, John (Lynn) Picot, Bill (Betti) Picot, Joe Lechnyr, Jerry Lechnyr, Brett (Jackie) Walker and Joshua Walker.
