Charles Machado

Charles Machado, 66 of Gaylord and formerly of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away at home on Saturday, September 30, 2023, with his family by his side.

Born October 7, 1956, in Honolulu, Hawaii, he was the son of Frank and Eva (Paris) Machado. Chuck and Sherry created a beautiful life together, raising four boys. He was an avid wild boar hunter and enjoyed spending time with family.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry of 33 years; sons, Adam Machado, Daniel Machado; stepson, Kekoaikaika (Cam) Cambra; his mother, Eva Brub; grandson, Sebastian Cambra; brothers, Henry (Cindy) Machado, Clayton (Ailsa) Machado and Matthew (Cindy) Machado; many nieces, nephews and special kids.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank and his sister, Debra.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. A memorial gathering will take place from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Monday, October 16, 2023, at Gaylord Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
