Cecil Charles Mills

Cecil Charles Mills, 87 of Gaylord, Michigan died on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 in Petoskey, Michigan.

Born on August 17, 1934 to Lawrence and Esther (Nelson) Mills in Marinette County, Wisconsin, Cecil served as a white coat in the US Army. Married to his wife Judy, on November 22, 1973, they lived in the Coldwater, Michigan area until 2000. After some years in Kentucky, they moved to Gaylord, Michigan in 2015.

He is survived by his wife, Judy; his children, Charles Mills of Tennessee, Brent Granger of Gaylord, MI; Rodney Mills, of Spokane, WA; Pamela (Mills) Volz of Potterville, MI; and Kyle Granger of Gaylord, MI; one brother, Glen (Sharon) Mills, of Valdez AK; as well as 16 grand-children and 25 great-grandchildren.

Cecil Mills, a faithful member of the Gaylord Seventh-day Adventist Church, was preceded in death by two sons, Scott Granger and Kip Granger, as well as his sister Joyce Gillen.

Visitation will be 1:00-3:00 PM on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at the Gaylord Seventh-day Adventist Church Fellowship Hall, located at 206 W. Fifth St, Gaylord MI.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the Coldwater Seventh-day Adventist Church, 399 N. Fremont Rd, Coldwater, MI where visitation will begin at 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow at the Sherwood Cemetery in Sherwood Township, MI.  Those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions to Strong Tower Radio, P.O.
