Cassander E. "Cassie" Hoffman

Cassander E. “Cassie” Hoffman, 82, of Alanson, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018 at home surrounded by her family after a long battle with Vascular Dementia.

She is survived by her five children, Bambi (Calvin) Whitaker, Kurt (Patricia) Hoffman, Karl (Pamela) Hoffman, Margaret (Tracy) Small and Eric (Marcia) Hoffman; 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Gerald Hoffman, her son Eric Hoffman, her parents and three of her four siblings.

She will be remembered by friends and especially her family for her warm, caring and giving nature.

Services will take place 11:00 AM Saturday June 16, 2018 at the Church of the Nazarene 7489 Mission Rd, Alanson, MI 49706. Visitation will be held beginning at 10:30 until the time of services. A luncheon will follow.  In lieu of flowers, those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Alzheimers Association or to the American Cancer Society for breast cancer research.
