Carol D. Kucka

Carol D. (Moon) Kucka, 73 of Gaylord, passed away at Hiland Cottage in Petoskey on Saturday, May 7, 2016.  Born in Detroit on November 4, 1942, she was the daughter of John and Madeline (Primeau) Moon.

Carol will be remembered by her family as a hard worker who cared deeply about her family first and foremost.  She enjoyed family get togethers and she was an avid gardener.

Surviving are her husband, Michael Kucka Sr; her children Cheryl (Jack) Bigelow, Frederick (Cecee) Venchenko, Colette (Mike) Hayes, Kenneth Venchenko, Michael (Tina) Kucka Jr, and Keith (Hailey) Kucka; grandchildren, Kody Bigelow, Amber and Holie Venchenko, Paul and Janine Cottee, Lawrence Venchenko, Dylan and Jordan North, Skylar and Ashton Venchenko, Kamaria and Kyle Hayes, Alexis Holmes, Kendra Venchenko, Chastity and Autumn Zimmer, Anthony, Hunter and Noah Kucka, and Ayla Downey.  Also surviving are great grandchildren, Owen, Eli, and baby Bigelow, Payton Venchenko, Dylan Jr. and Bentley North, Austin, Shannon, Mason and Vanessa Cottee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Madeline Moon; brother, John Moon II; Sons, Joseph Venchenko, Terence Venchenko and Lawrence Venchenko.

A memorial service will be held in December at the Gaylord Church of Christ, 1760 South Otsego Avenue in Gaylord.
