Carol E. Sholler, 65 of Gaylord, passed away at Otsego Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, September 9, 2015. Born on January 11, 1950 in Flint, Carol was the daughter of Richard and Norma Sholler.

Carol worked as a Pharmacy Technician for many years in the Flushing area. She enjoyed gardening, her dog Buddy and spending time with family. For the past several years she lived at Alpine Alten Zimmer where she grew to enjoy living in the apartments. She attended Lifechurch in Gaylord and enjoyed Sunday’s. She loved fashion, jewelry and was always dressed in style. She loved Christmas, decorating for the holidays, old cars, NASCAR Racing and learned to love Packers Football. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, Tammy (Kerry) Woiteshek of Gaylord, Ronnie Eckles of Florida and Jason Eckles of Mt. Morris; grandchildren, Jessica and Matthew Fritts of Flushing and Race Eckles of Davison; great-grandchildren, Nathan and Brody; and special friend, Diane Walker of Houghton Lake.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Larry, Ricky and Eric “Cricket” and her best friend, Kay Worthington.

A Celebration of Life gathering will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 1 PM to 3 PM at Sherman's Lounge, 4211 Fenton Road, Flint, MI 48507. Those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Otsego County Animal Shelter or to the American Cancer Society through the funeral home, P.O. Box 249, Gaylord, MI 49734.
